Miss Russet Pageant

So this may be a few weeks late, but better late than never right?! So on Wednesday September 14, I got to see my best friend participate in a pageant. I was so much fun and she did so well! Jared, Kara, Jordan, Cahlin, & I all drove up after school that day to Idaho and got there about 30 min. before it started. And the best part of all of it, is that she didn't know I was coming up! Do you know how hard it is to keep a secret from your best friend when you tell her EVERYTHING?! It's so hard! But I kept it in! And 3 1/2 hours later she got crowned third runner up! And I finally got to see her! I will never forget her reaction! PRICELESS. She started to cry. It was such a fun day and I will never forget. Then after we said our congrats, we had to head back down to Utah cause we all had to attend school that day! Such and exhausting day but such a fun one! One I will always remember! Congrats Julisa! You did amazing!

It's Monday, which means It's quote day(:

"I believe in pink. I believe laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing; kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to go wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles!"

Quote day..a few days late(:

I know I know I know.. I am a few days late on the quote day every monday. But on Monday I was with my family all day long. Julie, Jill, Kayden, Kennedy, Jared, Kara, and I all hung out together. We played card games in the morning till like 1:30. Then by around 3 we went out to lunch at Olive Garden. And came home and watched some full house and by the end of that it was time for bed. It felt like a short day, but was filled with fun & many laughs. So here's my quote with what went on that day..

"The family.  We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together."  ~Erma Bombeck
